Edit metadata

Change metadata when you need to alter the metadata value you are detecting.

Before you begin

Procedure

Go to Risk Management. Under Configure, select Metadata.
In Configure Metadata, select the name of the attribute element that you want to edit.

You define the metadata attribute when creating it. You cannot change the attribute type.
Update the Value, as required. Do one of the following:
- To detect a single instance of the attribute, enter a string literal as the value. For example, to detect an ANI with a specific number you could enter, "14045551212".
- To detect permutations of values, enter a regular expression for the value and then select the Regular Expression check box. For example, to detect any alphabetic initial between two words, you could enter, "Mortgage [A-Z] Department".
Use of regular expressions is recommended for advanced users only. No validation of the regular expression occurs. Test each regular expression before deploying it widely in watch lists.
Update the Description.
Click save .
