Reprocess category

Update the category with the historical interactions in the project that match its definitions by reprocessing it.

The category can be either a new category, or an existing category with updated definitions. While new interactions in the project are automatically associated with the category, historical interactions are included and excluded only on reprocessing the category.

Do not edit a category that is being reprocessed. Editing a category during reprocess may result in inconsistencies.

Procedure

  1. To identify categories that require reprocess, sort by the Last Reprocess column. The Reprocessing Required icon indicates that the categories must be reprocessed.

  2. Select the row with the category, and in the Actions column, click Reprocess.

The Last Reprocess column displays Reprocessing In Progress Reprocessing... (20%), including a progression indicator. The icon tooltip indicates when the reprocessing was initiated.

The Last Reprocess time is in the time zone of the logged-in user according to the preferences.

  3. If the Last Reprocess column displays Reprocessing Failed, indicating that the reprocessing failed, verify that the category does not include other categories or a date range in its definition.

  4. Repeat step 2.
