Upgrade to CipherTrust Manager 2.19.0
The upgrade from version 2.13.1 to 2.19.0 is a stepped process that requires an intermediate upgrade to 2.16.1. Before starting, ensure the node being upgraded has at least 100 GB of available disk space. Begin by upgrading the primary node, and confirm it is fully upgraded and back online before proceeding with the secondary node. Failing to follow this sequence may result in failures in interaction playback, transcription, consolidation, and archiving.

Procedure
-
On the node, open a Linux terminal.
-
Confirm that the node has at least 100 GB of free disk space; run:
$ df -h /
-
For a node at v 2.13.1, run the first upgrade file:
$ sudo /opt/keysecure/ks_upgrade.sh -f /home/ksadmin/610-000611-028_SW_Upgrade_Package_CipherTrust_Manager_v2.16.1_RevA.tar.gz.gpg
-
When you see "Upgrade succeeded. Reboot the instance to finish the upgrade", run:
$ sudo reboot
-
Confirm that the new version number appears in the SSH session banner.
-
When the node is operational and at v 2.16.1, run the second upgrade script:
$ sudo /opt/keysecure/ks_upgrade.sh -f /home/ksadmin/610-000611-032_SW_Upgrade_Package_CipherTrust_Manager_v2.19.0_RevA.tar.gz.gpg
-
When you see "Upgrade succeeded. Reboot the instance to finish the upgrade", run:
$ sudo reboot
-
Confirm that the new version number appears in the SSH session banner.
-
If the upgrade fails at any point:
- Reboot the server, run: $ sudo reboot
- Run the failed upgrade again.
-
Only when the primary CipherTrust Manager node is fully operational, repeat this process on the secondary node.
