Restore high-availability and key rotation on CipherTrust Manager

After both CipherTrust Manager nodes are successfully upgraded, restore the high-availability (HA) cluster configuration, resume key rotation schedules, and reinstall the updated ksctl utility to access the new commands and settings introduced in the upgraded version.

Before you begin 

Upgrade to CipherTrust Manager 2.19.0

Procedure 

  1. Re-establish high availability for the CipherTrust Manager nodes:

    1. Sign in to Web UI using a root domain account.
    2. Go to Admin Settings > Cluster.
    3. Rejoin the nodes to the cluster. For instructions, see Related topics below.

  2. Re-enable scheduled key rotation:

    1. Sign in to Web UI using a WFO domain account.

    2. Go to Admin Settings > Schedules.

    3. Enable the key rotation schedule.

  3. Re-download the CLI Tookit and reinstall ksctl. For instructions, see Related topics below.
