Archive requirements for Identity Authentication and Fraud Detection

An essential element of your deployment is the Archive system, a separate component of the suite. The Archive system provides long-term storage of interactions in a separate location from the Recorder.

A complete discussion of the Archive system is beyond the scope of this topic. For complete information about the terms and concepts related to Archive, see the related information section at the end of this topic.

Best practices for all interactions used for enrollment

Plan to archive all interactions used for enrollment, the process of training voiceprint models. If you need to retrain voiceprint models, archived copies of interactions ensure you can do so. Example scenarios for retraining voiceprint models include major system upgrades or as a step in the process of disaster recovery.

Configuring Archive with voice biometrics

Observe the requirements for Archive drives when using the Archive system with voice biometrics. Plan for a minimum of two archive drives:

  • Configure one drive for enrollment archiving. Configure the dedicated Archive drive with WAV Compression Level set to As Recorded (no compression).

  • Configure a separate drive for standard archive operations.

Archive campaign creation

In Enterprise Manager, create a campaign to archive interactions used for voiceprint models.

  • Configure a campaign for enrollment archiving:

    • Use the condition attribute of Biometrics Used for Enrollment.

    • Set the campaign to use the drive configured for enrollment archiving.

  • For all other archive campaigns, use a separate drive.
