Workflow: Create projects in connected mode

Create a Phonetics Boosting project for the language model you require, build, and distribute the updated language model, all from within the Phonetics Boosting application.

Workflow

  1. Optional: Change application to connect mode

If needed, change the mode of the Phonetics Boosting application from standalone to connected (the default), by changing the mode setting in the configuration file.

  2. Connect to Application Server

Connect to the Application Server or to the Application Server’s load balancer, with the language model to boost.

  3. Define project properties (Connected mode)

For a new Phonetics Boosting project, define the project properties such as the project name, its language model or language and vocabulary, and the location where the project is saved.

  4. Add terms and phrases to project (Connected mode) or Import terms and phrases into project (Connected mode)

Add single or multiple terms and phrases, define their band adjustments, and phonetic representations.

  5. Build and distribute language model (Connected mode)

Build the language model to incorporate the changes in the Phonetics Boosting project into the model, and distribute the boosted language model to the Speech Transcription servers.

  6. Optional: Distribute RTSA language model

If required, distribute a language model for Real-Time Speech Analytics (RTSA) from the Recording Management application on the WFO Portal.

  7. Optional: Roll back language model

In Connected mode, roll back the language model to either its base version or to the previous version of the model you created on the Speech Transcription server, and redistribute the selected version to all the Transcription servers.
