Add incident log entry to a call or recording segment with issues

You can add incident log entries to a call or recording segment with a detected Capture Verification issue while investigating the incident.

The incident log entry must include a incident category and an incident status.

You can add log entries to multiple call or recording segments.

Incident log entries can only be created, edited, or deleted by users with the Manage Incident Log Entries privilege.

Before you begin

Procedure 

  1. Select one or more call or recording segments for which you want to add a log entry.

  2. Do one of the following:

    1. Select the Add Note button Add incident log button above the list of segments with issues.

    2. In the Details pane on the right, go to the Incident Log tab and select Add Note button Add incident log.

  3. In the Add Log Entry menu, fill in the required fields:

    1. Select a Status.

    2. Select an Incident Category.

    3. Add a comment to provide information about the incident investigation.

  4. Select Add.
