Edit an incident log entry

You can edit incident log entries for a call or recording segment with a detected Capture Verification issue.

As a log entry can be associated with multiple call or recording segments, you can edit the log entry for either only the selected segment, or all associated segments. Editing the log entry for only one segment removes the association with other segments, which keep the old log entry content. This change cannot be reverted.

Incident log entries can only be created, edited, or deleted by users with the Manage Incident Log Entries privilege.

Before you begin 

View Capture Verification Incidents

Procedure 

  1. Select the segment for which you want to edit an incident log entry.

  2. In the Details pane on the right, go to the Incident Log tab.

  3. On the incident log entry that you want to edit, select Edit Note configuration button Edit.

  4. In the Edit Log Entry menu, choose if you want to edit the log entry for all associated call or recording segments or just the selected one, and edit the required fields.

  5. To confirm the changes, select Update.
